I’m pleased to announce the launch of the greener side of life, the Greener Every Day blog. The blog chronicles my own journey to live more sustainably, highlighting the obstacles and challenges as well as the joys of creating a greener way of life for myself and my family.
My latest post is on the meaning of green. Most people think of green as shorthand for reducing our impact on the environment. Going green is about using less–less energy, less paper, less water, etc. But is green just about deprivation? Or is it about something more? Click here to read my perspective on the meaning of green.
Also newly added to the Greener Every Day website is our green in boston resource guide. Bostonians and metro-Bostonians can check here for some of my favorite local green establishments including restaurants, farms, design centers, landscaping companies and more. Have a favorite green resource? Send me an email and I’ll check it out.
Don’t live in Boston? There’s something for you too. Our resources page includes some great online resources, and our green tips section offers green living advice that you can use no matter where you live.
Happy greening,
Rachel White, Owner,
