Praise For Greener Every Day
We hired Rachel to help us reduce waste and learn how to make a safer, greener home for our family. Rachel was great. Her advice was clear, helpful, and exactly what we needed and more! We thought we were doing a decent job, but Rachel took us to the next level. She advised us on composting, shopping safely for food and beauty products, and packing waste-free school lunches. We are living greener & healthier thanks to Rachel. --Evan & Terri H., West Roxbury, MA
Rachel is helping us quantify our environmental goals so that we can establish clear standards and track progress over time. The job involves a range of skills: research, writing, negotiation, presentation, and gentle nudging; Rachel brings all those skills to the table and then some. Paul Eldrenkamp, President at Byggmeister, Inc., Newton, MA
In addition to being a lot of fun, the green living classes offer extremely useful suggestions to help protect our environment and our children. Rachel has an impressive knowledge about many of the products we use every day and she is able to communicate it in an easy-to-understand and comfortable atmosphere! --Macy T., Newton, MA
Rachel is one of the most knowledgeable people I know that has a clear understanding of the issues involved with both day to day green living and also those that revolve around green building. Constantly on the lookout for new ideas and trends, she searches for information that will help us be wiser about the consumption choices we make. She recently signed up for a certificate program on Sustainable Design which will undoubtedly enhance what she knows and clearly shows her commitment to this field. --Risa Edelstein, Landscape Designer, Arlington, MA
I really enjoyed the Green Parenting discussion series with Rachel. She created a very open environment so that people with all different knowledge levels would feel comfortable. The class was fun and educational at the same time. Rachel did a great job of presenting all the facts about the products we use and the effects they have on our bodies and the environment without making us feel overwhelmed or helpless. She helped us come up with do-able options to help keep toxins away from our families and the environment. She also provided us with wonderful resources that can be consulted when product questions arise. I look forward to participating in continuing education with her. --Stefanie A., Wellesley, MA
There are those that preach, those that believe and those that practice what they preach and turn others into believers. Rachel is a special type of consultant and educator focused on the green market. It has been a pleasure to discuss strategy and directions of the eco-movements as they apply to my business. In addition to energy efficiencies and home improvement base knowledge, her adoption and understanding of SMART watering through drip irrigation retrofits and conservation techniques such as rainwater harvesting to ultimately be fully sustainable in her landscape compliment her services to the community and business. --Frank Koll, President, Greenscapes, Arlington, MA
I am very pleased with the Green and Healthy program sessions presented by Laurie Brownstein and Rachel White. The combination of the of healthy and green eating fits in well with two of our companies newest initiatives, the Wellness Committee and Start Living Green. With Rachel and Laurie’s broad and diverse experiences, they are able cover a wide variety of topics and answer questions with ease. The employees who attended the spring session left energized and armed with new ideas to try at home and work. We are all looking forward to our next quarterly Green & Healthy ‘lunch and learn’. --Robert Zuker, Chief Operating Officer, Chestnut Hill Realty, Chestnut Hill, MA
